DESCRIPTION

To help our client celebrate Halloween, MAVRIX created a spooky family event at a greenfield site in Kildare.

The event featured a host of fun family activities, including pumpkin carving, face painting, storytelling, and quad bike rides.

All of this took place in the surrounds of a bespoke-build, prefabricated haunted farmhouse.

Prior to the event, this was designed and built by the MAVRIX team, and featured over 3,500 pumpkins, as well as over 400 square bales of hay. The event played host to just under 4,000 attendees, who were all treated to a thrilling Halloween experience.

OUR WORK – ILLUMINATI PARTY

DESCRIPTION

MAVRIX was given carte blanche to create an exclusive event that would be decadent, immersive and theatrical. Playing on the theme of the illuminati, MAVRIX created a clandestine world, populated with secret doorways, actors, double agents, and a whole host of weird and wonderful art installations. The event hosted over 120 attendees, all of whom were watched over by a giant, all-seeing eye – the iconic symbol of the illuminati.

OUR WORK – THE RETAIL SHOW

Creative Conference

DESCRIPTION

Our partner wanted to offer their 400 employees an engaging conference experience – one that would feature genuine entertainment, as well as informational insights. MAVRIX was tasked with bringing these core messages to life in a new way.

The idea involved MAVRIX creating a game show scenario that allowed speakers to deliver their content in a fun, fast-paced way, while also including audience participation. This helped to keep the crowd entertained while delivering crucial company information.

OUR WORK – WINE POP UP

EVENT TYPE 
Pop Up Event

DESCRIPTION

As part of Torres Wine’s ongoing ATL campaign, MAVRIX worked directly with the media agency to bring the campaign to life offline, with an immersive brand experience. Taking our cues from our client’s Spanish heritage, MAVRIX created an authentic Spanish-inspired, pop-up cafe in Temple Bar.

The cafe invited people to come and experience a slice of Spanish culture, with art, food, traditional entertainment, music and wine all on offer, waiting to be enjoyed. The event was hosted in an empty art gallery, with over 2,000 attendees, including more than 20 well-known influencers.

The MAVRIX creative team transformed the space, with product displays and bespoke floral installations giving it a special feeling.

OUR WORK – GLOBAL BRAND LAUNCH CASE STUDY

EVENT TYPE Global Brand Launch/Conference/Exhibition

DESCRIPTION

As part of Circle K’s launch into the Irish market, MAVRIX created a one-day event that consisted of five breakout events, an exhibition area, and a closing ceremony complete with a gala dinner and awards show.

With over 2,000 attendees, including delegates and VIPs, the MAVRIX operations team provided global logistics support for exhibition assets, while also ensuring that 1,000 attendees were accommodated for with hotels and ground transportation.

After so much hard work, and at such scale, we were delighted to pick up the award for Best Launch Event in 2018 at the Event Industry Awards. All elements of the event design, build, and execution were carried out solely by the MAVRIX team, with core skills including:

The event was a massive success. Circle K went on to ask MAVRIX to ship conference assets, sets and content to other territories to support further global launches.

OUR WORK – SUMMERFEST CASE STUDY

Corporate Family Fun

DESCRIPTION

For our client’s summer party, MAVRIX created a family fun day, which played host toover 600 employees, as well as their families.

Set on the grounds of a historic Irish country house, the MAVRIX production team created a carnival atmosphere with attractions such as vintage helter skelters, ghost trains, a bespoke segway obstacle course, and lots more.

Experiential/Brand Launch

DESCRIPTION
As part of the Topaz rebrand to Miles Fuel, MAVRIX created a fun, consumer-facing campaign that targeted a wide demographic of fuel buyers – reaching over 50,000 people across Ireland.

With a mix of high-quality colour graphics, ribbons, bunting, festival flags, all adorned with key brand messaging, MAVRIX transformed forecourts around Ireland into an exciting brand experience for consumers.

The MAVRIX promotions team visited 80 forecourts nationwide and garnered swathes of media attention.

KEY CAMPAIGN FACTS

OUR WORK – FESTIVAL ACTIVATION @ ELECTRIC PICNIC

At Electric Picnic, MAVRIX created an experiential event for Aussie Shampoo that generated massive buzz at the festival, as well as online.

The activation allowed festival goers to kick-start their day and book-in for a professional hair appointment to get #HeadlinerHair at the Aussie Jooozh Bar.

KEY EVENT METRICS
• 50,000 x Aussie 3 minute samples given to consumers over 3 days.
• 900 hair appointments made
• 12 Aussie brand ambassador distribution team members
• 6 Expert hair stylists
• 4 Hostesses
• 10 Social influencers

In partnership with Aussie’s UK based creative agency, MAVRIX designed and dressed all assets for the Electric Picnic activation. Due to the scale of the event, production took place weeks in advance with all aspects handled by the MAVRIX team, including:
