We collaborated with Lidl Ireland and Northern Ireland to celebrate Lidl’s suppliers and products at Europe’s largest agricultural event, The Balmoral Show & The National Ploughing Championships.
Working closely with Lidl, their charities, top Irish celebrity chefs and country music stars, we created the concept of ‘Growing Today’ to showcase the objective of hospitality, family interaction, and fresh produce.
To do this, we created a 20 x 30 metre traditional barn and outdoor space. 65 suppliers showcased their products at taste booths while on our main stage, celebrity chefs cooked up a storm using Lidl’s finest produce. Live music from country music star Derek Ryan got families and friends jiving together. Whilst the show was kept on the road by Daithi O’Shea and TV presenter Pamela Valentine.
And to add even more Lidl surprises, we created a Lidl outdoors space: a community-inspired space where different generations could play both traditional games and today’s computer games: together. Forming connections young and old.
From the “Growing Together” concept to event identity design, production, installation, sound, lighting and entertainment, we collaborated with talented teams to bring the entire event to life. Our team of 60 staff provided 120,000 food samples, facilitated 20 hours of live music and our ‘Growing Today’ barn experience made press headlines nationwide.
